Technical note on photographs
The majority of photographs on this site are taken with Sony CYBERSHOT digital cameras (various models used, most recently DSC-W90). Pictures are reduced to 1024 x 768 pixels and then compressed with JPEG images of around 80kB for speed of download.
Thumbnails appearing on the main pages are further reduced and either act as page links or as links to the full picture.
